Internet Telephony (VoIP)

A Phone That Rings

The house used to have a phone on the wall, and it rang for the whole family. Then the phone company raised the bill. Then they said a cellular telephone was all you needed.

What happens when a customer calls your cell and you’re in the garden?

What happens when the kids are home and the only phone is in your pocket at work?

What happens when the landline bill costs more than the calls you make?

Unfortunately, we see that happen way too often. The number still works, but nobody is there to answer it, or the bill isn’t worth the ringing.

Phones You Already Own

Offline Systems sets up internet telephone service for homes and small shops here in Cache Valley. The calls travel over the internet connection you already have. You can use a desk phone, a cordless handset, or the computer and cellular telephone you already own.

We can set up voicemail, call forwarding, call recording, conference calling, and ring groups. A ring group means every phone you choose rings at once, so somebody in the house can answer. Forwarding means the shop number can follow you to the truck without handing customers your personal cell.

You don’t need a new gadget for every feature. You don’t need a different app for every relative. If you already have phones, we’ll make them work.

The Number Stays Yours

The point is not a clever telephone. Grandma should be able to dial the house. A customer should be able to reach the shop. You should not rent that simple thing from a company that would rather sell you a bundle.

The house should still have a phone that rings, and the bill should still make sense.
