A Camera That Stays Home

People put cameras on the house so they can see the driveway, the porch, and whether the kids got home after school. Then the camera company said the video had to live in the cloud.

What happens when a corporation can watch your front walk?

What happens when last Tuesday’s recording sits on a computer you do not own?

What happens when they want a monthly fee before you can see your own porch?

Unfortunately, we see that happen way too often. The camera is on your wall. The pictures are not in your house.

On-Site, and Only You

Offline Systems installs on-site video surveillance for homes and small shops here in Cache Valley. The cameras look at the places you choose. The recording stays on a hard drive in the building. You can look at it. The neighbors cannot see it. Apple, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft cannot see it.

That is what private means. The video does not need to leave the house to show you your own driveway. If the internet goes down, the recording should keep going.

We can put cameras outside, in a shop, or on a barn. We do not need a subscription for every lens. If you already have cameras that send pictures to a company, we can keep the recording here instead.

Only You Can See It

The point is not a clever camera. The point is that your family’s comings and goings are not a product.

No one, including Offline Systems, should be able to watch your cameras without your consent.
